Golf Bucket List – Golfing Fanatics

Golf Bucket List

When I turned 49 and my love for the game became epic, I decided to start my Golf Bucket List of 100 Courses. Now, I may never reach all of my 100 courses, but I will have the time of my life trying!

First on my list was Pebble Beach Links. I was the only woman in a foursome, which was quite intimidating, but I figured what was the worst that could happen?

I had an amazing caddy who was funny, and he explained that the whole idea should be to enjoy the experience, whether you play well or not. And he was right, the beauty of Pebble Beach puts you in awe of nature and gives you a life changing experience. I got up to the first tee after the three gentlemen in my group teed off and with nerves of steel I hit the ball straight and down the middle, forgetting about who was watching and how important it is to hit well on the first tee!! After my shot, the guys said “nice shot” which was all I needed to hear.

The rest of the day was amazing, and as I walked to the 18th green, which is tradition, I smiled at myself, knowing that I accomplished something I never thought I would do. I also smiled because it’s not always about how good you are or what other people think, it’s how you feel inside and the immense sense of accomplishment for doing something amazing.

I recommend Pebble Beach for your golf bucket list! It may be expensive, but you can’t put a price on the experience.

Next up Torrey Pines!
