Is Golfing Fanatics A Scam?

“I am a huge golf fanatic and know the equipment is not cheap, there has to be some kind of catch”

“Don’t want to pay $15 for only access to forums and golf improvement research. I can get all that for free as is.”

“There’s a catch, you have to spend hundreds sometimes thousands buying merchandise to get the ‘free’ stuff.”

“Test, then return? If that’s the case its not free equipment.”

“Scam scam scams”

“this is way to good to be true.”

“Nothing is for free. There is always a catch or scam”

“Please clarify, is this a drawing???”

The above are just a few comments, questions, and speculations about Golfing Fanatics we received after launching.

I completely understand the skepticism, too.

After all, it sounds almost impossible that anyone could get all the benefits of a $50k private golf club experience for mere chump change each year — including free brand name clubs, equipment, apparel, gadgets, golf balls, bags, and accessories… as well as huge discounts and tee times at top courses, vacation discounts, demos, free PGA Master Professional training… and the list goes on.

Is all this real?

Or, is it an exaggeration, lie, and scam?

As a golfer who gets irritated with all the bogus offers, exaggerated claims, and bad customer service on the Internet… I’d be asking the exact same thing. So, I think anyone looking at joining Golfing Fanatics is entitled to answers to the above, and feel 100% safe in their decision that they (1) won’t be wasting their money (2) won’t be lied to and (3) won’t have to worry about getting scammed in any way, shape, or form (as you’ll see, we have to trust you, instead of you having to trust us).

With that said, here are some facts about the club:

1. You keep anything sent to you, and never send anything back

Any equipment, clubs, apparel, etc you get free via Golfing Fanatics is yours to keep. Mostly, it is a matter of giving your honest opinion to the manufacturers. They really need guys like you to test and use their products, give reviews, and help spread the word. If you had to send anything back it would be completely counterproductive. They want you to enjoy their wares, brag about them to your friends, and use them as much as possible.

So to answer the “do I get to keep everything?”

Yes.

Anything you are sent is yours to keep, forever.

No strings attached, no sending anything back.

2. Backed by some of the most respected names in golf

Golfing Fanatics is backed (and, in some cases co-founded by) some of the most reputable names in the industry.

Take PGA Teacher of the Year Lou Guzzi, for example.

He’s one of the co-founders.

He’s also a Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher, 2013 National PGA Teacher of the Year, Golf Digest “Best Teacher in your State” winner, and National PGA Instruction Committee member. He sometimes writes GOLF Magazine instructional articles and has been on the Golf Channel lately. He also has taught on GOLF.com, ABC, Channel 6 Action News, CBS (on Sports Zone), Comcast CN8 Sports (he’s Director of Instruction on their Inside Golf TV show), and Golf Talk Live Radio (he’s their Official Director of Instruction, too). He’s even a frequent speaker for the PGA of America and is easily one of the most trusted and respected voices in the industry.

And guess what?

He’s just one of the nationally recognized names backing us.

There’s also Don Trahan (also a PGA Master Professional, whose methods have been endorsed by multiple world-class orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, bio-chemists, and 2 major medical research universities)… and Doc Griffin (International top 100 master club fitter and rated by Golf Digest as one of America’s top 100 club fitters in 2011)… and the list goes on.

My point here isn’t to “name drop.”

It’s to show you the people involved simply can’t afford (professionally or by reputation) to do business with anything even remotely unethical or that’s a scam. Their reputations among the 40 million golfers on the planet are at stake, as is their reputations with potential students (including Tour Players) and the major Golf media. These guys wouldn’t have anything to do with us if there was even the slightest chance they thought they would regret it or we couldn’t deliver on what we promise. In fact, we are carefully and slowly launching the club incrementally, purposely not growing too fast, precisely because we would rather build a solid foundation and have thousands of happy customers in the long run, than grow too fast, not be able to deliver, and make everyone mad just to make a few dollars in the short run.

3. Easily accessible by phone or email

We don’t hide behind our website and take care of questions or complaints immediately.

For example, when we launched, some people had trouble accessing the club due to a technical “gremlin” on our side. We took care of them, immediately, by phone or email. If we were a scam, you’d probably have to go through a long “support ticket” process and wait days for answers, with us hoping you will just forget and give up in frustration.

But, that’s not how we operate.

You can call or email us at any time, and get a real person (not be shunted to a FAQ page or get the run-around).

I give you my personal guarantee on this.

4. You don’t have to trust us, we have to trust you

How so?

Because your first 30-days are free.

The second you join, you can log in, start the process for getting free golf equipment, download the advanced training, take advantage of the interactive community, and use and abuse us all you want. If at any time in those 30-days you want to cancel, just let us know. We’ll cancel you on the spot, you will owe nothing, and can keep anything you’ve gotten during your free 30-days. And if you decide to stay, it’s just pennies per day (literally a bum rattling a paper cup full of sticky coins can afford this), and even then, you can get a refund on your membership at any time, for any reason, immediately, and without hassle.

This means we have to trust you, instead of you trusting us.

(As it should be.)

More:

Let me “admit” to you how it works when buying online. Following is something the scammers are scared to death you’ll find out. But the reality is, when you buy online via your credit card, you have all the power. If you want to challenge a charge on your credit card, because let’s say we didn’t refund you for some reason (which would never happen, but let’s just pretend), you simply call your credit card company and tell them. They will then investigate, make sure the merchant has a chance to make things right, and, if they don’t, issue you a chargeback, where you get your money back no questions asked (whether we like it or not). And so, you can rest assured we will never hesitate to refund you at any time should you ask for one. (Too many chargebacks would put us out of business, so it’s in our best interest to make and keep you happy forever.)

Anyway, I hope this puts your mind at ease.

There is no way we can possibly “scam” you.

But, I don’t expect you to take my word for it. Go ahead and hold our feet to the fire by giving us a try and letting us prove it to you.

I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

And, I look forward to seeing you on the other side…
